Wharncliffe Mill is now open! Campsites and dorms are available now and the cabins, lodge and safari tents will be open ready for the Xmas holidays.
Wharncliffe Mill in the Bramley National Park is located just over a kilometre north of Margaret River, the nature based bush retreat will continue to service school and community groups, as well as accommodating solo travellers, families and couples.
Claire and Adrian Prendergast now operate the bush retreat offering caravan and camping sites and dormitory accommodation for budget travellers looking for an accessible nature based experience.
By providing quality service, affordable accommodation, a wide range of tours, hire equipment and interpretive information, Wharncliffe Mill will provide new opportunities for visitors to connect with nature, in one of Australia’s most sought after tourism locations.
Wharncliffe Mill will look to partner with local tour operators and Traditional Owners, to offer packages to guests enabling them to enjoy a variety of enriching experiences including; Aboriginal cultural tours, nature based experiences and a wide range of adventure pursuits.
A strong focus will be on remaining accessible for school and community groups who have a strong connection with Wharncliffe Mill. We will ensure that these groups are still able to hold their camps at Wharncliffe Mill, by offering ‘exclusive use’ options for part of the year.
Plans include a bush café and new wilderness style accommodation options in the near future, to service the ever growing demand from mountain bike riders, bush walkers, cultural enthusiasts and nature lovers.
